Job Description
The Program Manager III will support the People Data Privacy team by managing requests through the Privacy review process, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating risk. This role involves continuous review and evaluation of over 200 projects to ensure data retention and audit frequency parameters are met. The Program Manager III will work closely with internal and external partners, delivering consistent and standard processes, and implementing improvements for better data collection. This is a 12-month contract with a chance for an additional 12-month extension.
ResponsibilitiesContinuously review accuracy of ownership, purpose of efforts, roles of participants, and access control practices.Evaluate data retention duration and determine the necessity of extensions, deletion of unused data, or project closure.Ensure consistency of current data collection/production with original onboarding documents.Identify opportunities to split or contract projects if scope changes.Onboard new projects and periodically review capacity with high-use clients.Act as a subject matter expert for project-related privacy and governance issues.Troubleshoot issues upon request from teams or clients.Review and update documentation regularly.Conduct full Privacy reviews, including Privacy Impact Assessments, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and Legitimate Interest Assessments.Support employee and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding processes, policies, and issues.Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external contacts, including legal partners, to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.Execute transactions accurately and consistently, meeting service level agreements (SLAs).Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for each case.Perform regular data quality reviews and audits.Develop and drive opportunities for continuous improvement.Essential SkillsHuman Resources and/or HR Compliance experience.Experience managing confidential data.Ability to spot risks and escalate as appropriate.Experience working independently and collaboratively with a globally dispersed team.Proficiency in managing and organizing multiple large document files with varying deadlines.Additional Skills & QualificationsShared services or paralegal experience.Customer service experience.Experience with data privacy, including GDPR, and risk/compliance management in a global context.Experience working in a global, large-scale, complex, fast-paced environment.Experience in continuous improvement.Ability to work independently.Persistent and able to drive conversations with stakeholders.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00
