Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex defense and aerospace programs, ensuring successful delivery while maintaining compliance with federal regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing U.S. Army acquisition programs through the full lifecycle from development to production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery development and production of programsDevelop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plansManage program risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as neededInterface with government customers, prime contractors, and key stakeholdersEnsure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and other relevant regulationsPrepare and present program status reports to senior management and customersMonitor contract deliverables and coordinate with finance teams for accurate program financialsDrive continuous improvement initiatives within assigned programsManage transition of products from development to full-rate productionCoordinate with U.S. Army acquisition officials and support milestone reviewsOversee production readiness reviews and manufacturing process validation

Qualifications

​​​​​​​Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of program management experience in defense, aerospace, or related industriesAbility to obtain a Secret security clearanceWorking knowledge of DOD acquisition processes and military standardsDemonstrated experience with earned value management (EVM) principlesProficiency in MS Project, MS Office Suite, and program management toolsPMP certification or equivalent certificationUnderstanding of systems engineering principlesFamiliarity with government contracting (FAR/DFARS)Experience with agile and traditional project management methodologiesKnowledge of production and manufacturing processesAbility to travel 

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of military/aerospace standards (MIL-STD, AS9100)Experience managing U.S. Army acquisition programs through development and production phasesKnowledge of Army acquisition milestones and technical documentation requirementsFamiliarity with production readiness reviews (PRRs) and manufacturing readiness levels (MRLs)Experience executing and managing U.S. Army testing and evaluation requirementsBackground in New Product Introduction transitioning prototype systems to full-rate production
