Program Manager Life Safety, RN
Full time, Monday - Friday, Days
Manage operations for Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Life safety program. Works with leaders and team members to support emergency responses at DHMC.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the adherence to AHA standards.
* Coordinate with the DH Life Support manager.
* Oversee the Code Net Rescue system and the fleet of defibrillators.
* Review performance data of all Life Safety response teams and report the status to the life safety committee and senior leadership.
* Coordinate and train life safety emergency response teams.
* Chair the Life Safety Committee.
* Collaboration with SICU UNM and Respiratory Care manager regarding personnel for Life Safety response teams.
* Growth, development, and strategic planning of the life safety programs.
* Manage the DH emergency management system software system.
* Responsible for the library of Life Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Required:
* Bachelor's degree with 5 years of healthcare experience
* Previous experience working in life safety
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
* Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and act autonomously
* Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple requests at once
* Preferred:
* Master’s degree preferred
* Previous experience working in data abstraction or quality improvement desired
* Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt
* Critical Care or Emergency Department experience
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Licensed RN with NH Eligibility
- BLS upon hire
- ACLS within 180 days
- PALS within 180 days
