Summary
The Program Manager will support the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) Corpus Christi Army Depot supply chain management efforts. This role involves building and managing a team of supply chain experts, coordinating between various organizations, and developing solutions to parts availability issues. The Program Manager will also be responsible for delivering analysis, reports, and briefings to leadership, while ensuring effective cooperation and communication among stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build, manage, and train a highly effective team of supply chain experts.Manage the supply chain and mitigate parts-related risks/issues.Serve as the key liaison with the customer.Develop and advocate for solutions to parts availability issues.Develop strategies to support customer initiatives in materiel planning and logistics.Monitor DLA impact on fleet-wide weapon system readiness and analyze provisioning related degraders.All other duties as assigned.PENDING CONTRACT AWARD

Experience building, training, and managing a teamPrevious experience leading in a cross-functional team environmentPrevious experience implementing lean and supply chain initiativesExperience in supply management and logistical support functionsBroad understanding of the levels of repair philosophies for military servicesMust have an understanding of Military Supply Chain processes and inventory practices.Ability to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Security Clearance (as required).Education and/or Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Twelve (12) years of professional experience in supply chain/distributionSeven (7) or more years' experience in a supervisor role.Preferred:
Strong collaborative, communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsProficiency in Microsoft productivity suites5 years' experience working for DLA and/or working directly supporting a USG Repair DepotExcellent relationship/interpersonal skillsAbility to work with incomplete information and ambiguityIndustry knowledge of Aerospace Defense supply chain.Physical Demands / Work Environment
