The Project Management function manages a BU (Business Unit) project or program to successful outcome.

Programs involve delivery of critical strategic business capabilities or regulatory changes that impact multiple business units or disciplines. 

This role is responsible for aligning resources, overseeing the budget, working with senior stakeholders, implementing and managing the overall program governance, creating project plans and tracking key milestones/risks/dependencies.

This is the key coordinator to ensure Implementation of critical business capabilities or regulatory change.

 

Major duties include:

Managing large scale, enterprise-wide Programs with multiple projects and work streams.Execution of a program initiated to deliver a change in the strategic direction of business function activities; expansion of critical business capabilities or implementation of cross business unit regulatory change.Managing implementation of complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issuesDisplaying a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business and technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivityCommunication of program objectives; risks; issues and overall status to multiple levels of the organisation including senior stakeholdersFacilitation of cross discipline (business unit) coordination for decision making regarding scope; prioritisation and issue resolution.Implementation and management of the overall governance of the program, chairing meetings at multiple levels of the organisation and producing relevant reporting at all levels.

 

The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills:

Excellent communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written are required for communication to all levels of the organizationIn-depth Functional; Technical and/or Industry Knowledge Highly flexible and adaptable to changeLeadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Program’s  goals, structure, budget and resource needPeople Management skills to be able to manage all situations, liaise and delegateTeam work skills to drive execution without direct reporting line responsibilitiesIndependent and proactive self starter Seasoned expert with program/project management expertise  Technical and/or business knowledge developed through previous industry experience.Experience in managing budgets and forecasting financialsHigh level of presentation skills to senior stakeholdersWaterfall and agile methodology experience required
