Program Manager- OBGYN- Full-Time- Days
Overview JOB DUTIES: In coordination with the Department Director, this individual manager coordinates and integrates department resources and activities to meet the goals of the University of Florida Physicians Inc., organization. Projects span a range of areas aimed at promoting the department’s reputation by informing and inspiring its multiple stakeholders. This individual will work closely with internal team members as well as campus colleagues. Essential Functions: • Responsible for working with department leadership to set an annual communication strategy, partnering with clinical division chiefs to set up appropriate timelines for project execution to ensure that deliverables are being met according to department expectations • Supervises all aspects of the department communication efforts acting as a direct liaison with UFCOM-J, UFJPI, UF communications and marketing. • Responsible for maintenance of clinical faculty CVs and Biosketches, to include the coordination and maintenance of alumni data, including personnel files and verification of credentials for communication and research purposes. • Serve as a liaison between UF GME Central Office and OB/GYN for all matters relating to medical student, PA student and NP student clerkship • Responsible for regular review of website content to verify consistency of information as well as the preparation of timely, accurate, and relevant content to be submitted to marketing and communications for posting. • Collaborates with communications and marketing team members as well as internal team members to ensure all projects are prepared on time and in accordance with university policy • Responsible for preparing monthly department newsletters in collaboration with department leadership for internal dissemination. • Department representative responsible for assisting faculty with promotion & tenure packets. • Collaborates with division chiefs to create social media content calendar for review and approval by communications and marketing team members. • Responsible for enlisting other department team members when appropriate to resolve and clarify issues that could impede execution of projects. Assist with the preparation of division specific patient packets and GME packets and materials in accordance with university policy and ACGME requirements to ensure the content is accurate and current. • Assist with the preparation of division specific patient packets in accordance with university policy, ensuring content is accurate and current Qualifications Experience Requirements: 3-5 years' experience in project/program management required 3 years' Experience in Sales/Marketing/Medical Education field(s) preferred Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Associates Business or health related field required Bachelors Business or health related field preferred Additional Details: 5 YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Certification/Licensure Requirements: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required or within 1 year Epic Certification PB required or within 6 months EPIC Certification required must pass within three (3) attempts to maintain employment New Version Training (NVT) required must pass within three (3) attempts to maintain employment UFJPI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drugfree Workplace
