**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent, with 5 years of experience in program management.
**Job Summary:**
The Program Manager is accountable for the personnel, operational and financial management of assigned program(s) to ensure the delivery of competent, compassionate and efficient clinical care, promotion of research and clinical education.
**Job Duties:**
General Program Duties
+ Oversees and supervises all business and administrative activities relating to program operations and budget.
+ Provides oversight for the program and promotes teamwork.
+ Leads/participates in collaborative interdepartmental approaches to develop and enhance an integrated system of delivery and operations.
+ Coordinates all joint operations for the program with both internal and external sources.
+ Recommends hiring and termination of all supervised employees.
+ Responsible for identifying and evaluating the need for new equipment, supplies, communication services, and information services for all areas of the program.
+ Initiates implementation plans for new projects and services within the program.
+ Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
+ Drafts, reviews, and maintains educational program and affiliation agreements for the John Sealy School of Medicine MD and PAS programs, ensuring compliance with institutional, UT System, LCME, AAMC, and state regulations.
+ Reviews and maintains renewal schedule for existing contracts.
+ Analyzes contracts for accuracy, consistency, and completeness while assisting in resolving contractual issues with external partners.
+ Provides guidance and education to internal stakeholders on contract approval requirements, obligations, and compliance standards.
+ Updates agreement templates based on regulatory changes (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA, AAMC, Conflict of Interest).
+ Processes amendments, ensures required institutional approvals, and tracks contract data and metrics via Cobblestone.
MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
+ Assists in grant writing.
+ Performs related duties as required.
**Salary Range:**
Commensurate with experience.
