Program Manager - Originations
Position Description:

Program Manager skilled in overseeing and managing complex IT projects and programs that support our client’s compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Program Execution

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects and programs related to regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to identify technology needs and develop solutions that address regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance-related IT systems and applications.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of compliance technology initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for compliance-related IT projects.
• Coordinate with external vendors and regulatory bodies as needed for compliance technology implementations.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management on project progress and compliance-related IT initiatives.
• Must possess deep knowledge on regulatory requirements and emerging technologies for banking industry to be an effective liaison between IT and business stakeholders.
• Responsible for on-time delivery and execution of critical Technology projects and initiatives to deliver business value.
• Works with core project team (such as business partners, vendors and technical team) to develop detailed, actionable project schedules. Assigns tasks to team and develops detailed and accurate work schedules, project estimates, and resource plans.
• Executes, monitors and controls technical projects from original concept through final implementation.
• Communicates accurate and timely project accomplishments and overall project health to stakeholders via required measures and methods (such as status reports, metrics, checkpoints, portfolio reports, and scorecards).
• Manages and monitors project budgets with high focus on approved technical funding and technical cost containment. Ensures cost changes have accurate and timely approvals and follow corporate and department standards, policies and procedures.
• Reviews project deliverables, especially technical artifacts.
• Manages a team of technical project managers, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

Resource Planning

• Staffs technical projects through initial resource planning and ongoing accurate labor forecasting. Ensures the right teams are engaged at the right time for the right work over the life of the program.
• Ensures accurate and timely resource time charges to assigned program.
• Coordinates contingent labor procurement/selection as required for assigned program.

Risk Management

• Ensures adherence to all government, corporate and department standards, policies and procedures in all technical artifacts, tasks and decisions across the technical team.
• Works to ensure all artifacts adhere to all standards, policies and procedures.
• Proactively manages overall risks and risk mitigation plans.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Sound understanding of US Regulatory landscape covering banking regulators such as FRB, OCC, CFPB, FDIC and SEC.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements (e.g.,CFPB regulations, AML, KYC, GDPR, Basel III, CCAR, Dodd Frank act ).
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects and programs.
• Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, PMBOK).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are desirable

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,600 - $213,800.
