Position Overview:

Program Manager (RN), Center of Excellence (CoE)
Location: Sutter Memorial Modesto Medical Center
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel for meetings, conferences and professional development.

Sutter Memorial Modesto Medical Center is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee our Center of Expertise (CoE) programs, including Bariatric, Neuro/Stroke, and Total joints programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing CoE initiatives, with a deep understanding of CoE processes and a demonstrated expertise in patient care within these specialized areas.

Provides leadership in managing and directing the program and is responsible for implementing and growing program internally and externally. Is responsible for operational roll out and day to day oversight of the program. Coordinates outreach, oversees data management, conducts data analyses and reporting out of program results, leading improvement activities with all stakeholders. Acts as liaison and manages relationships, ensuring satisfactory execution of all components of the program. In addition, works collaboratively on operational program objectives, systems, and goals.

Job Description:

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Partners on development and oversight the program, including but not limited to: program growth and development, compliance issues, provider schedule etc.Develops program written policies and procedures to reflect active and continuous interpretation of operational objectives, systems, and goals.Manages budget and facilitates funds flow for program.Manages program contracts.Facilitates credentialing and proctoring process for program providers.Management of relationships. Provides clinical and administrative direction to personnel and other activities associated with providing care.  Follow up and liaison with program partner sites. Resolves issues with sites and coordinates any escalations as appropriateProgram performance data collection: Develop and monitor descriptive, process and outcome quality metrics.  Database entry.  Quality reporting. Lead quality and operational quality improvements in collaboration with key stakeholders.Support in creation of the program.Plans and participates in relevant initial and ongoing in-service training incorporating findings from operational improvement processes.Interprets policies, objectives, and operational procedures recommending changes as appropriate.Establish/maintains appropriate communication with other departments, medical staff, nursing staff etc. and entities.


EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

RN- Registered Nurse of CaliforniaBLS- Basic Life Support

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

5 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Current working knowledge of program areaProgram management experienceExcellent skills in written and verbal communication to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical personnelAbility to build collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers and systems to achieve programmatic objectivesEvidence of problem-solving abilityEffective leadership and communication (interpersonal, written and verbal) skills

Pay Range is $73.80 to $99.63 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
