How you'll add value
In our Agile environment the Program Manager manages scope and schedule within a portfolio. The Program Manager drives adherence to high quality program management standards across their teams and ensures the constant flow of meaningful program and roadmap communication to team members, business stakeholders, and leadership. The Program Manager must mitigate risks across multiple teams to ensure a successful product delivery. Program Managers are expected to be role models of leadership, transparency, and program management.
Duties and Cor Responsibilities
• Provide guidance to a portfolio ensuring the teams’ efforts are aligned to meet the value delivery goals and objectives of the portfolio
• Support teams in following the standard Paycor Agile methodology and procedures that are used in the management and deployment of products and projects to ensure successful product releases and value delivery
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to execute and plan the roadmap, milestones, and delivery timelines for the portfolio
• Support the resolution of issues, conflicts or risks across the teams to remove any roadblocks; creating action plans and options as necessary, acting as the communication liaison between team members, peers or leadership
• Manage dependencies across teams and portfolios and ensure they are planned into milestones
• Support delivery plans, including forecasts for the portfolio
• Provide consistent status information on the teams’ efforts toward the value delivery goals and objectives of the portfolio
• Leverage metrics for action and continuous improvement
• Act as a key point of contact for high level scope discussion, communication and delivery status for the portfolio
• Support the rollout and launch of products and features to the organization, including betas, migrations and general product availability
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems or Computer Science Preferred; or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of program management experience in an Agile software/product development environment
• Strong understanding of key metrics to guide Agile team results
• Experience in solving complex problems
• Exceptional communication ability with various audiences, including team members, peers, and leadership
