What You Will Do
Manage cross functional development teams through a phase gate development process.Manage project timelines (Gantt) task based schedules. Insure accurate product documentation for in-house and ODM supplier designs.Conduct regular team meetings, establishing action items and due dates for activities of Acoustics Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Supplier, etc.Act as Team Leader and spokesperson (in conjunction with Management) as final arbitrator in Team decisionsInsure product collaterals such as photo samples, carton artwork, user manuals and other product literature are developed, reviewed and released for production.Coordinate timely submission of Safety Agency samples on electronic items.Support Supplier's personnel in planning and completing their Design Verification (DV), Process Verification (PV) and Production runs.Provide regular project reports showing status of each program in development.Track progress of cost, budget and timing for each program, reporting any variances and suggesting ways to bring program back to plan.Ensure product concept is preserved, requested performance and application requirements of the product are met, and appearance and packaging standards are adhered to.What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Business or BSME/BSEE or equivalent technical degree desirable.5-7 years of previous project management experience in the mid to high volume consumer products industry.Project management experience in the headphone industry is preferred.Requires PC skills using programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Project and PowerPoint.Previous experience using automated 'Gantt type' scheduling tools.Previous project budgeting and resources loading knowledge/experience.Previous experience in dealing with Asia suppliers.Manual dexterity and lifting ability needed to receive and unpack, and/or build up and pack samples as needed.Must be able to multi-task and have good written and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership, management and decision making skills. Professional program management certification (PMP) desirable.Ability to manage multiple projects effectively at one time. Must speak fluent English.What Makes You Eligible
