Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Manager for our TEAMS Next Missile Defense System Engineering Contract (Evergreen) to join our team! In this role you will lead the largest support contract in the Missile Defense Agency.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading and directing the staff in the execution of a >800 staff member support contract
Providing interface to the government contracting office, consolidated support office, and engineering technical stakeholders
Ensuring deliverables are provided within the required timeline
Coordinating staff efforts to demonstrate collaboration across the contract
Organizing team and re-balancing efforts to ensure priority efforts are staffed and executing for the government team
Controlling cost and labor hour execution within ceilings
Engaging with customers to ensure the program is meeting the needs of the government for both technical support and contract execution
Proactively engaging with customers to identify opportunities for organic growth on the existing contracts
Tracking opportunities for follow on work opportunities to ensure continuation of efforts for the engineering staff
Establishing trust with the government customers, across the Parsons staff, and with our subcontract partners
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Minimum of 20 years of Program Management experience
Master’s Degree in a field related to leading large complex efforts
Top Secret Clearance
Experience managing contract efforts within the Missile Defense Agency
Established relationships with leaders across MDA’s acquisition, contracting, consolidated support, and engineering organizations
Experience leading a large, geographically diverse organization
Understanding of contracting regulations, organizational conflict of interest, organizing a multi-company team
Demonstrated ability to develop staff members
Proactively engage the workforce to ensure diverse thinking, while actively demonstrating the pursuit of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workforce
