Program Manager - Training

Job Summary

The Red Hat Services team is looking for a Program Manager to join us primarily in Sao Paulo-Brazil. In this role, you will manage complex programs within LATAM Training to completion, from initiation through delivery to closure including Customer Experience. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams and establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria, as well as define, monitor, and review all program economics including costs, operational budgets, partner's requirements, resources, and risks. As a Program Manager, you’ll also help establish an organizational practice discipline and serve as an ambassador for the adoption of success management fundamentals, principles, and methodologies with Red Hat Services.

What you will do:

Responsible for positioning the company’s training products; primary responsibility includes finding, generating and developing new partners in order to deliver training products to end-users. Customers may be geographic or named accounts.

⁠Manage Instructors Up skills Plans

Certify Instructors to teach red hat training

⁠Capacity Management for Instructors

Act as a liaison between global curriculum and Sales and Partners

⁠Maintains applications for proposals sandbox

Manage Customer Experience

Leads the Solution Architects from a pipeline generation perspective

Operate in an inclusive meritocracy to solve problems effectively and efficiently

Support Curriculum team by managing and prioritizing strategic goals, objectives and key results (OKRs), and requirements, and sharing expectations.

Coordinate local training GA (General Available) launches; keep projects on track and moving forward; lead check-in calls for each project

Track and deliver status reports on the scope of evolving high level goals, ensuring teams are engaged in their mission to navigate them within agreed timeframes and stakeholders are informed

Act as customer or stakeholder contact for project team members

Schedule and lead periodic sprint reviews and planning meetings with Partners and Sales counterparts.

Set priorities, expectations, and communicating with stakeholders around project needs and task progress

Pursue and grow development partnerships with other teams

Write requirements as specifications, user stories, or tickets

What you will bring:

English proficiency is extremely important.

Spanish profinciency is recommended.

Experience managing or participating in programs

Experience managing programs in ticketing systems like Github, Jira, and Confluence

Understanding of code promotion workflows, version control, and development best practices

Great communication skills with excellent written and verbal professional communication skills

Comfortable organizing and interacting with remote and virtual teams

Professional, collaborative, and proactive approach to people and problems

Discerning, critical mindset that avoids cynicism

Ability to work as part of a team and well under pressure and within deadlines

Motivated and able to work on your own and within a team and consistently manage your own time and tasks

Active member of an open-source web community is a plus

Experience working with large teams on large projects from start to finish is a plus
