Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for managing very complex and/or high risk technical programsOversees program budget and schedules; may direct staffMay be responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customersExercises a high level of independent judgment and initiative in solving highly complex problemsIdentifies and engages in frequent contacts with potential customersWill frequently travel to customer and company locationsOversees and develops strategic planning strategyPerforms related duties as assignedResponsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contractsEnsures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departmentsEnsures projects are completed on time and within budgetActs as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operationsFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular fieldRelies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerforms a variety of complex tasksTypically reports to a unit/department head Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of five years of experience within the last ten years in the field of IT project management.Possess a current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional Certification and/or a current Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification.At least two years of continuous recent experience within the last five years managing Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology (IT) projects with multiple CONUS and OCONUS performance locations.Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
It is desired that the PM has the following qualifications:
Ten years of experience in the field of IT project management.Posses a Security+ (SEC+) and/or other Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II Level Certification.Possess a current Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification.Experience supervising and managing simultaneous contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and inter-related IT projects similar in size, scope, and complexity to AGUN-INC1 task areas of the TOR.Two years of continuous recent experience, within the last five years, managing U.S. Army IT projects with multiple CONUS and OCONUS performance locations.
