**Job Description** BAE Systems is looking for a Program Manager I to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting an acquisition program for the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications System. The successful candidate will provide program and project management support the Strategic Automated Command Control System (SACCS) Acquisition Programs. This program is designed to extend SACCS systems life and transition into the follow-on system, known as Sentinel ICBM System (formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD)) Candidates may be called upon to augment organic resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for: + Sustainment/Transition/Deployment Schedule Management + Weapon System Risk Management + Mission Integration Management + Enterprise Management Potential candidates will validate the abilities to accomplish the following activities while demonstrating strong leadership attributes of a team of subject matter experts accomplishing the same: + Manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate and execute SACCS Acquisition Program Support through all phases awarded by the Government. Achieve financial, schedule, technical and new business performance objectives. Model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security. Exhibition of direct people management responsibility/capability is required. + Attend internal and external meetings as required to cover both business items and customer requirements. Review and approve all correspondence delivered to customer as deliverable item. Follow all required processes especially the peer review process to ensure quality of products being delivered. + Maintain a high level of expertise in DoD Acquisition related requirements. Execute A&AS efforts according to DoD 5000-series instructions. Ensure program and project personnel retain highest levels of knowledge as related to their programs/area of subject matter expertise. + Direct project and program activities or segments of major projects. Review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports. Assess issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team. + Perform location hiring actions including interviewing and onboarding, securing base access, building vindication, security requirements and off boarding actions for direct reports. Conduct personnel performance evaluations IAW BAE policies. + Directly support government leadership and maintain strong customer relationships. + Travel monthly to Hill AFB, UT for program collaboration on program schedule and technical requirements. + Maintain other duties as assigned. _Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status._ _This position is only located at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska._ \#ASFS **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** **_Required Skills and Education_** + _At least 10 years experience in direct Program Management (8 years with Master s)_ + _Excellent cognitive, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills._ + _Knowledgeable of Middle Tier Acquisition, Major Capability Acquisition, Software Acquisitions Pathway, Performance Work Statements, Statements of Work and other acquisition documents._ + _Active US DoD Secret Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years._ + _At least 5 years experience leading technical teams._ + _Experience managing large projects._ + _Demonstrated strong leadership skills specifically: setting expectations, managing work, and leading individuals and teams._ + _Demonstrated self-discipline to plan and prioritize their own work with successful results_ + _Experience with managing/forecasting budget requirements._ + _Ability to manage personnel (individual/team environment) in execution of short/long programmatic goals/objectives._ + Due to its special-access, classified working environment, this position is only located at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, and is not conducive to telework schedules. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** **_Preferred Skills and Education_** + _BS/MS degree and/or PMP certification._ + _Previous work with DoD, USAF or other military communication systems._ + _Experience managing within, or entire, DoD acquisition programs in a Systems Program Office._ + _Experience with technical systems, network design and software coding._ + _General knowledge of MS Project, Primavera or other scheduling tools._ + _General knowledge of requirements management tools._ + _General knowledge of product lifecycle management tools._ + _General knowledge of model-based systems engineering processes._ + _General knowledge of software development, integration and deployment in a DevSecOps and/or Cloud environment._ **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
