Job DescriptionThe Program Monitor/Technical Editor conducts primary and secondary data collection at assigned grantee sites to measure compliance and assess program performance as part of ongoing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Analysis initiatives.Essential Tasks Include:MonitoringPerforms on-site and remote monitoring reviews to assess grantee compliance with program requirements and collect data on programmatic outcomes.Conducts interviews with grantee staff, program participants, and external stakeholders about program administration, operations, quality of services, and program outcomes.Reviews program data to determine compliance with grant requirements and client policies and procedures.Identifies potential promising practices and technical assistance needs.Presents preliminary findings to grantees and staff both verbally and in writing.Drafts monitoring reports containing in-depth analyses and assessments of findings.Participates in team meetings as required and assists with additional projects, as needed.Technical EditingContributes to the development and writing of M&E analysis reports and other related deliverables.Edits monitoring and other written reports to ensure quality and conformity to agency guidelines and standards.Supports the standardization and maintenance of collaboration platforms and document storage sites, to include Teams Channels.Prepares monthly summaries of division monitoring findings and activities for distribution to staff. Qualifications:BA/BS or equivalent degree require with 4-5 years of monitoring and evaluation or writing/technical editing experience. Advanced degree preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical skills.Expertise with MS Office suite of tools.Ability to travel domestically ~25% of the time.Experience with data visualization and analysis tools.Experience working with refugee and immigrant populations preferred.Additional RequirementsThis position requires a Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain it and is based in Washington, D.C., or may be remote. Long-distance travel to cities within the U.S. is required and will be reimbursed per federal travel regulations.
