The Program & Platform Manager will lead the configuration and management of the YMCA Ignite platform, enhancing user experience and engagement while ensuring smooth onboarding for partners and participants. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership, drive innovation, and deliver impactful solutions that align with the YMCA's mission and goals. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, project management, and change adoption, the Program & Platform Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing platform performance and supporting organizational growth. In this role, you will:
Configure and manage the YMCA Ignite platform, ensuring all features function properly, troubleshooting technical issues, and continuously enhancing the platform’s user experience with a focus on participant engagement and satisfaction Facilitate the onboarding of organizations, partners, and participants, ensuring smooth integration into the YMCA Ignite platform Manage the YMCA Ignite course portfolio by developing project plans that ensure courses are delivered on time and on budget Establish and maintain strong working relationships and communication channels with senior leadership and stakeholders across all program areas to understand business needs, direction, and intent Extract and analyze platform data to inform decision-making and improve program delivery Incorporate effective change management principles and execute change management plans to ensure the effective adoption of the YMCA Ignite Prepare and participate in partnership and business development meetings with potential customers and funders Deliver timely and accurate status reports by tracking KPIs, maintaining project schedules, and managing project control documents (e.g., risk logs, budgets) Support the development of tools, processes, and resources for the YMCA Ignite team, including dashboards, project planning procedures, and reporting mechanisms Manage administrative tasks as required, such as invoice processing and providing exceptional customer support by managing the general YMCA Ignite inbox Perform other duties as assignedYou bring:
Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, user experience, digital platform production, or business development, ideally within nonprofit, educational, or community-focused organizations Experience with onboarding and managing vendors and external partners to ensure alignment Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and communication Experience managing or supervising staff is an asset Capacity to manage and develop budgets Ability to apply recognized change management methodologies Able to manage cross-functional teams remotely Knowledge of Learning Management Systems is a strong asset Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, and presentation skills Excellent understanding of diversity, inclusion, and equity, including the ability to identify and address barriers, work effectively with diverse stakeholders, and integrate equity into program designWhat you need to succeed:
