An excellent career opportunity is available for a Program Principal –Equipment\nExecution (Hydrogen Projects) within the UOP Execution Group located at UOP India,\nGurgaon office.

Primary Accountabilities/\nResponsibilities for this position are:

1. Assume total accountability for assigned Project(s) which includes directing\nand coordinating with personnel assigned to perform engineering, procurement,\nfabrication, and delivery for Equipment project(s)
2. Hold accountability to deliver assigned Project(s) with the appropriate\nlevel of quality, on time, on (or under) budgeted cost, and consistent with the\ncontractual scope and UOP's standards & Specifications
3. Execute assigned Project(s) in accordance with the established Equipment\ndelivery work process and consistent with customer’s contractual requirements\n& expectations
4. Develop, maintain/ update, and implement a Project Quality Plan (PQP), MS\nProject schedule, and Project Execution Plan (PEP) for each assigned Project
5. Accurately forecast revenue flow consistent with contractual billing\nmilestones for assigned Project(s) through timely invoicing and update/\nmaintain in CORA & SAP
6. Forecast requirements of resources required for successful execution of\nassigned Project(s) and to work with respective specialists & managers to\nensure that necessary resources are assigned
7. Appraise project team of performance and to coach/ provide constructive\nfeedback to this team throughout the Project
8. Build a positive attitude within project team by fostering productive and\nopen communication
9. Liaise with/ support procurement specialist (buyer) to engage the services\nof vendors/ suppliers/ sub-contractors (as necessary) in support of execution\nof assigned Project(s)
10. proactively manage change orders that define changes (either in scope or\ndelivery impact or both) for assigned Project(s) with customer and with\nvendors/ sub-contractors/ suppliers
11. Regularly report project metrics for assigned Project(s)
12. forecast potential problems (like cost over-runs, schedule delays,\ntechnical and/ or resource constraints etc) and identify actions to mitigate/\nnullify impact to assigned Project(s)
13. Manage External/Internal Stakeholders during the\nterm of the assigned Project(s)
14. Ensure that UOP safety procedures are implemented on each assigned Project
15. Perform required project close-out procedures for assigned Project(s)\nincluding participate in supplier performance evaluation
16. Conduct regular Meetings for assigned Project(s)
17. Report on project execution to Manager of Projects including regular\nupdates of Cost Metrics, OTTR (on—time to request), COPQ (cost of poor\nquality), Quality PPM (parts per million) etc for assigned Project(s) on a\nmonthly basis  
18. Review/ understand the provisions of the\ncontract (i.e. customer’s purchase order OR agreement, as applicable) for\nassigned Project(s) and to forecast/resolution of potential conflicts.    
19. Work within SAP as related to the assigned\nProject execution
20. Identify Threat & Opportunity and monitor\nthe same throughout the Project Cycle.
21. Support MOP for Proposal Phase Execution Review including cost\nestimate
22. Mentoring of New PMs

Other Accountabilities/\nResponsibilities:
1. Adhere to the HS&E policy and guidelines


Around 20 years of total\n work experience with 15 years in project management in refining and/ or\n petrochemical industry
The ability to travel\n approximately 25% to 50% annually to fabrication shops, customer offices,\n detailed engineering offices and customer sites around the world is\n required 
 Able\n to communicate effectively in English.
Departmental competencies:
Demonstrated strong\n working knowledge of Project execution of Equipment products in India and/\n or abroad for the petroleum refining & petrochemical industry.
Cross Cultural Exposure\n for managing Global Project
Strong leadership and\n multi-tasking skills are required 
Strong verbal and written\n communications skills
Ability to effectively lead\n a Project Team
Good knowledge of and\n ability to work within SAP, CORA
Good Knowledge of software\n like MS Project (OR Primavera), MS Office etc
Additional\nQualifications:
• Advanced degree and/or PMP certification is a plus
• Understanding of fundamentals of UOP's Equipment products is a plus
