Introduction to the job

The mission of the Quality & Business Performance Improvement (Q&BPI) sector is to orchestrate the portfolio definition of non-PGP improvement programs at ASML level, its prioritization based on customer and business impact, and its execution by the different sectors or, if needed, with its own resources. We focus on end-to-end processes, requiring to look across organizational boundaries, and considering the entire flow creating value for the customer. To fulfill the mission, the QBPI sector is also owning several competences which are applied ASML world-wide. Part of that competence set is the Program and project management (PM) competence.

Role and responsibilities

As PM competence owner, you are end-to-end responsible to manage the overall roadmap of program and project management maturity step-ups. You report progress to the PM steering committee, and Q&BPI X-competence alignment, using the PM competence roadmap and competence maturity metrics. You drive the realization of process and methodology upgrades. On top of that, you focus on:

BPI Key Decision (BPI KD) process:

Managing the orchestration of multiple (complex) competence contributions to the BPI Key Decision process, which is used to run the non-PGP improvement programs at ASML. This is done by orchestrating the BPI KD Change control board

The BPI KD blueprint which also includes templates, processes, training to ensure the BPI KD process is unambiguous and can be used by all improvement programs in the non-PGP category

PM Competence:

Together with the PM competence sponsors and PM steerco determine the direction of the PM competence and support sectors where needed to create their own PM step ups.

Contribute to the Harmonization team of the PM competence which is ensuring the Project management methodology (PMM) is aligned ASML wide and support the efforts to deploy the standard.

Own the Program management chapter in the PM competence and support the college to take over the Program management training catalogue

​Education and experience

A Bachelor’s or Master's degree

10-15 years of Program and or Project Management experience (within ASML)

Experience in process and competence management
