General Description
The Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and the North Perry Airport is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Program Project Coordinator - Asset Section in the Maintenance Division. The position will report to a Program/Project Coordinator, Senior, in the Maintenance Division Asset Section. This position will maintain the Traka document controls system for the Division's locksmith and will be responsible for the issuance, collection and audit of the brass keys issued to Airport employees, Tenants and Airport Users.
This position will be responsible to run reports from the Maximo work order system to document work log productivity and analyze reports for the better management of asset's life cycles and replacement of such. They will also assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures that ensure the accuracy of asset-related data, implementing asset verification activities in the field, such as coordinating with project managers for construction-related asset updates. In addition, they will be responsible for researching and providing information as it pertains to personal injury incidents such as slip and falls, and elevator/escalator/moving walkway equipment incidents in and around the Airport campus.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, public administration or closely related field.
(One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.)
Requires two (2) years experience in a staff or administrative capacity managing special projects, programs or business operations appropriate to the area of assignment or closely related experience.
Special Certifications and Licenses Required
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Class E driver's license based on area of assignment.
