Responsibilities

Program Overview

 

The Program Representative position plays a crucial role in promoting the organization aimed at supporting at-risk youth and their families. This position focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies while fostering strong relationships with key community stakeholders, including mental health professionals, educational institutions, and referral sources.

 

Our Intercept program serves a broad population of youth, including those involved with multiple child-serving systems and those at high risk of removal from their families. The program specializes in diverting youth from out-of-home placements by helping their families safely maintain youth in their home environment. This position is responsible for providing intensive home-based therapy.

 

Our LifeSet Specialists provide their 18-22 year old young adults with the knowledge to utilize all available community resources.These counselors are able to help clients become self sufficient by assisting them in locating and learning how to use community resources such as housing, employment and education.

 

Position Overview

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned:

Market all Youth Villages’ programs, continually learn about Youth Villages' programs, improve marketing skills, and keep abreast of competition Maintain ongoing contact with key referral sources through presentations, meetings, phone calls, emails, mailings and other outreachConsistently meet referral goals regarding assigned region Build & maintain positive relationships with all referral sources Establish relationships with key community providers including psychologists, psychiatrists, employee assistance people, insurance carriers, mental health centers, school groups, community groups, juvenile court personnel, human service workers and social workersIdentify and build relationships with new referral sources Respond to customer service needs and monitor customer satisfactionComplete Pre-placement assessments for the purpose of securing funding and communicate progress and barriers to the appropriate customers Conduct outreach to families and young adults waiting for services at least weeklyBe knowledgeable of community resources and supports for families and young adults in assigned region Engage in mass mailing/e-mailing, cold calls, and other marketing campaigns to build and enhance awareness of Youth Villages services  Assist the Placement Specialist and Placement Supervisor in authorization process as neededComplete daily and monthly reports as requiredAll other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree requiredStrong communication skillsExcellent written, verbal, and oral skillsExceptional time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailMust be employed with Youth Villages for 6 months 

 

Experience growth and development through our continuous training, as well as tuition and licensure reimbursement, or pursue opportunities to advance both clinically and administratively with Youth Villages.
