Program & Staff Development Specialist
The Program and Staff Development Specialist (PSDS) is responsible for developing and implementing a training system that meets all corporate and state-specific training requirements, and maintains all documentation supporting all training hours. The PSDS also serves the organization as a performance consultant for implementing learning into practice. Not only will the PSDS instruct staff in corporate and program-specific courses, but will also revise and enhance corporate curricula as needed. The PSDS must maintain certifications as a CPR & First Aid Instructor as well as an instructor for the currently used method of physical restraint of clients. Requirements: + Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required. Masters' degree preferred. + Minimum 3 years training experience. + Mental Health experience strongly preferred. + Strong computer skills, competent in Microsoft Office applications + Able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time + Able to complete tasks in an organized fashion with minimal supervision + Must be able to read, understand, speak and write grammatically correct English. + Must be able to express or exchange information by means of the spoken word.
