The Program Supervisor manages and supervises program staff. This role is responsible for knowing and being capable fo fulfilling all job duties of supervisees. The Program Supervisor provides direct support to supervisees, oversees the quality and tracking of all services and documentation, trains and onboards new staff, ensures program coverage, and is an integral part of the management team. As the Program Supervisor, travel between King City and Salinas will be required.
ABOUT FIRST STOP VISITATION CENTER
The First Stop Visitation Center provides services to children and parents who are referred by Santa Clara Department of Family and Children’s Services who are working toward reunification. The program hosts the visits on site and community, and is designed to provide opportunities for parents to build parental capacity, strengthen family relationships, and increase successful reunification and permanency outcomes. The Visitation Center is a resource for families to access transportation and therapeutic support in the reunification process during visits at the center.

Responsibilities Perform the following personnel functions: interviewing, hiring, supervision, training, and evaluation.Learn, know, and be able to train/coach their program's model and hold their supervisees to the model.Create and maintain supervisees' schedules for providing direct care/support for children and families.Support the team with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion issues that impact their supervisees' own professional development and those of the families receiving services.Ensure that all supervisees are submitting accurate and timely paperwork related to the services being provided to children and families and relevant to their role.Provide initial and ongoing training, coaching, and support to all supervisees regarding all areas of their job and responsibilities.Participate in weekly supervision with the Program Director or designee.Conduct weekly individual supervision of staff.Facilitate team meetings for all members of that supervisor's team.Work with the Management Team to coordinate ongoing staff trainings.Maintain flexible schedule with ability to work evenings as needed. QualificationsREQUIRED
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related subject areaBachelor's degree + 3 years of experience providing direct services to clients may be considered in lieu of a master's degree.TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy.Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination.PREFERRED
Experience working with children in out-of-home care preferred.Experience implementing family-focused services preferred.SKILLS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
