Program Support Manager - GM Protection

Responsibilities About the role The Program Support Manager is responsible for coordinating with various internal & external stakeholders across the GM Enterprise to deliver GM Protection program expertise and manage the implementation and support of GM Protection program partnerships. This role will assist in building and managing a best-in-class suite of protection and insurance products specifically designed for GM Enterprise business units. As the Program Support Manager, you will help devise the program vision and manage the change management process for the business. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, GM business partners, and third-party partners to meet business objectives. You're a collaborator who can work cross-functionally and inter-departmentally with senior leadership. You'll be the subject matter expert for GM Protection program, and you'll be recognized as a fierce advocate for putting the dealer and customer at the center of everything we do. In this role, you will: Liaise with GM Enterprise business units such as GM Envolve, GM CarBravo, GM Energy, and GM CCA to identify, develop, implement, and manage program strategies using GM Protection solutions Build business cases to identify and prioritize opportunities for incremental revenue growth Act as the subject matter expert interacting with internal and external key stakeholders including field sales, operations, and third-party partners Manage product portfolio coverages & benefits and liaise with actuarial team to deliver best-in-class products Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in operations, marketing, training, and communications and other influencers who contribute to the definition and ongoing support of the Protection products strategies through stewardship, influence, motivation, and change leadership Manage the change management process with key internal & external stakeholders to create and enhance new and existing Protection products Continually monitor competitors and industry developments Qualifications What makes you a dream candidate? Experience in or understanding of product management in an agile environment Strong knowledge of the automotive protection products business and operations lifecycle Exceptional interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), cross-collaboration, and team skills Ability to understand and explain complex issues and clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level Ability to dive into performance measurements with teams to help optimize and find key insights into performance Ability to synthesize analytic results into relevant and strategic recommendations Excellent skills creating and managing a roadmap of features and enhancements Experience supporting financial services platforms preferred Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries, and deliver business insights Experience & Education Bachelor’s Degree in business-related discipline or equivalent related work experience required 4+ years of experience in a related discipline, working collaboratively with project/program management teams to implement change required Experience in auto finance or insurance products preferred What We Offer: Generous benefits package available on day one to include: 401K matching, bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid), tuition assistance, training, GM employee auto discount, community service pay and nine company holidays.
