Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Front End Developer. This role involves contributing to our Digital Payments technology organization by developing new capabilities for our digital payment disbursement platform. Responsibilities: + Develop new capabilities for an AWS Development Team and contribute to our digital payment disbursement platform. + Collaborate with business analysts on requirements, write technical design documents, and contribute to development, testing, support, and implementation for small to mid-sized projects. + Develop a primary execution engine on AWS Lambda to support high volume payment origination processing disbursement and settlement capabilities. + Work on the development of scalable and event-based applications using Amazon SQS and SNS. + Use AWS CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail for diagnosing logs and root causes of complex technical problems. + Develop storage for containers using EC2 and data stores using DynamoDB and RDS PostgreSQL. + Contribute to the development of security capabilities like threat monitoring and alerting using AWS GuardDuty. + Develop seamless user experience using JavaScript nodeJS and AWS CloudFront. + Develop APIs to communicate with UI using API Gateway and maintain high performance APIs using X-Ray. + Develop robust User Management using AWS Cognito and KMS. + Develop networking capabilities using VPC and continuous configuration management using AWS Config. + Be aware of Change Management and Incident Management knowledge using ServiceNow to implement changes to production. + Ensure that all development deliverables are completed including sprint planning, backlog grooming, detailed design, development, unit/automated testing, defect fixes, implementation planning/execution, change controls, and production support/incident resolution. Requirements + 3+ years of hands-on development using technologies that provide TypeScript driven user experiences, RESTful web services, incoming/outgoing file processing, and asynchronous event-based integrations. + 3+ years of hands-on Full Stack Cloud Native application development technologies like React and Angular. + Relational databases/SQL like Amazon Aurora, MySQL, and PostgreSQL NoSQL databases like Amazon DynamoDB, 3+ years using Unix/Linux commands. + Payments/payment processing background in one or more of the following (PayPal, Venmo, ACH, Check, Gift Card, Debit Card, Zelle, Bill Pay etc). + Hands on experience working with Docker, Kubernetes or other container orchestration technology.
