Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Programmer/Analyst: IV (Lead) in Columbus, Ohio. This role is in the automation engineering industry, where you will be contributing to enterprise-level automation efforts across infrastructure and operations tech spaces. You will also be responsible for automation orchestration and maintenance of the Rundeck Enterprise and AWX platforms. Responsibilities: • Conceptualize and design script structure to meet operational needs. • Work with Ansible, Python, and other programming languages to create reliable automation scripts. • Engage in engineering design work, tailoring solutions to meet specific infrastructure automation process needs. • Identify, verify, vet, and test hardware/software requirements for proposed automation and orchestration solutions. • Guide and empower infrastructure engineers in exploring, identifying, and expanding automated solutions within their team. • Leverage your understanding of infrastructure devices, protocols, functionalities, and operations. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action. • Utilize Agile Scrum, Waterfall methodologies, and version control best practices. • Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications accurately. • Work with containers and virtual environments, using your extensive development background to support, maintain, and engineer infrastructure technology adjacent solutions. • Recognize enterprise-affecting issues to inform both automation design and operations. • Utilize your skills in Office Functions, Documentation, Operations, Human Resources (HR) Administration, Design, Supervising, Troubleshooting, Engineering, JavaScript, Metric Reporting, Communication Skills, Data Analysis, Python, Integration, Monitoring Tool, Conductivity, Time Management, Execute, Best Practices, Protocols, Supply Chain Management, Risk Management, REST API, and Tableau.
