Job Seekers, Please send resumes to resumes@hireitpeople.com Roles and Responsibilities:Supporting the Beacon Application with enhancements to the current functionality,production support, maintenance and daily operations.Ensure that the correct data calculations and data display happens by monitoring the SQLjobs, which run in varying frequencies.Constant communication with the users and Business Analysts to enhance the ease of theapplication based on the requirements.Modify existing code to satisfy the change requested.Developing data models to support new change requirements.Normalizing the tables/ relationships to arrive at an effective relational schema without anyredundancy to design an OLTP system for the application.Develop and maintain applications with C# code, utilizing the ASP .NET framework 4.0/4.5Worked on creating Object Oriented Programming objects like classes and methods using C#to perform the necessary calculations and performed exception handling using try-catch blocksand logging the detailed errors. Creating and modifying the Oracle database objects including tables, indexes, views,triggers, procedures and functions to support the changing functionality.Developing Oracle Forms and Reports to incorporate the requested enhancements into thecurrent application.Perform query optimization using the execution plan and working closely with the DBA's toenhance the performance of the database.Troubleshooting to resolve production issues and bugs within the application environment.Providing support to the users, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Writing detailed classes and methods in C# to connect to the Oracle database to fetch data
as well as insert data back into the database.Schedule timely code reviews and maintain version control for code reuse. Support deployment of code into production, occurring in bi-weekly sprints.Perform Unit Testing and Regression Testing on the code developed to ensure properapplication workflow.Write and provide SQL Queries to the reporting team to generate daily/weekly/monthlyreports based on the required criteria.Run batch jobs to send out reports and email notifications in case of any failures in theapplication.Engaging with customers, providing technical design solutions and providing alternativeworkflow to ensure that the business does not halt.Ensure all automated processes are documented, including how to overcome errors that may occurEducation:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field with relevant experience.
