Programmer Analyst

Role 

Under limited general direction, designs, develops, and maintains JD Edwards (JDE) applications, integrating them with enterprise and third-party systems to ensure seamless operations and data integrity while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions and support system updates. This is a hybrid role. 

Essential Responsibilities 

Designs, codes, tests, and deploys JDE applications and customizations using JDE Edwards development toolset, including Orchestrator. Works on Integrating JD Edwards with other enterprise systems and third-party applications, ensuring data integrity and seamless operations. Designs, Develops, tests, implements & maintains integration processes with 3rd party vendors, managing vendor relationships and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. Collaborates with Recology JDE Enterprise one functional analyst and other departments to understand business requirements to design, develop and deliver integrated solutions that are scalable, adaptable and sustainable. Analyzes and resolves technical and application problems in a timely manner. Utilizes AS400 (iSeries) to maintain and support JDE application database. Monitors and supports all JDE modules, Month-end, and year-end tasks. Maintains and applies ESU to JD Edwards applications to ensure systems are up to date with the latest features and fixes Identifies opportunities for process optimization, automation and efficiency improvements within the software development and business processes. Create technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals, and provide training and support to end-users and IT staff. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

Six years of related experience preferred. Five years’ experience in developing and maintaining JDE and related software applications preferred. Experience in JDE 9.2.x or higher. Experience in supporting multiple JDE, AS400 implementations in developer, techno-functional lead capacity. Experience with JDE tools like OMW, FDA, RDA, NER, BSFN, BI Publisher, E1 pages, Business services and Orchestrator. Experience in designing Café one, E1 pages, Composite pages, Power forms, UDOs, Orchestrator. Expertise in integration development and Web Services (REST, SOAP) Experience working on multiple full life cycle application projects Preferred Knowledge of cloud platform (e.g. Azure, AWS, Oracle cloud) and their integrations with JD Edwards. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and manage projects. High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid driver’s license.
