Essential Functions:

Complete programming tasks assigned by study project team leads, including crafting, driving, and validating programs that transfer data across multiple systems. Merge data from various sources, generate summaries, and generate reports using SAS and standard tools.Prepare and analyze clinical trial patient datasets, such as laboratory data, vital signs data, tumor response data, imaging data, quality of life and well-being questionnaire data, or adverse events data, for clinical research purposes. Consult with researchers and multi-disciplinary project teams to determine technology-based solutions and computational strategies tailored to specific projects.Develop customized codes to apply existing tools and applications, ensuring flawless outputs or validating outputs for clinical bioinformatics or technical use.Act as the programming lead on studies of simple to moderate complexity, successfully implementing lead tasks and responsibilities.Actively seek information to understand the lead programmer's role in the overall process and may lead on simple to moderately complex projects under close supervision. Ensure adherence to departmental working practice documents and SOPs, contributing to the development of informal training materials.Develop your programming, technology, clinical trials, and pharmaceutical industry skills. Collaborate with mentors, participate in presentations, and contribute to department documents and policies to expand your expertise.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirement: MS/MA degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or related field. Also open to candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience.Proven ability to lead programming activities for a project team and develop specifications for SDTM and ADaM derivations.
