Volt is immediately hiring for PLC Programmers on Remote Sitting

As a PLC Programmers, you will

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDevelop building process control logic in EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly known as Unity Pro) for M580 HSBY PACs using Customer Design Standards, Derived Data Type (DDT) Lists, standard library of Derived Function Block (DFBs), and Sequence of Operations (SOOs).\r\n\tClear communication skills to be able to collaborate with design team and follow directions of lead engineers.\r\n\t“C++,” Visual Basic”\r\n\tLogic Design (Structured Text, Ladder, DFBs, DDTs, Boolean)\r\n\tControls and Connectivity (PACs, Industrial networks, Ethernet Networks)\r\n\tField Devices (Computers, M580 PAC, M580 HSBY, HMIs, Sensors, etc.)\r\n\tElectrical and Control Drawings (field I/O, power distribution, etc.)\r\n\tP&ID Loop Control and Tuning\r\n\tFamiliarity with SCADA and/or HMI platforms\r\n\tUpdate DDT lists based on final SOO and logic development.\r\n\tDesign applications using the standard DFBs as building blocks using existing Customer applications as templates for the program structure.\r\n\tAttend internal and customer design meetings to review programs and SOO documents.\r\n\tEnsure adherence to Project Playbook and Version Control Processes\r\n\tChange management and rev control\r\n\tUse QA/QC tools and processes.\r\n\r\n\r\n

What qualifications will make you successful?

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.\r\n\t1+ years of experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and commissioning PLC/Process Automation applications, especially with company products.\r\n\tWriting industrial control applications.\r\n\tExperience with industry standard communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Modbus TCP/IP and Ethernet IP, BACnet.\r\n\tIntegrating devices from multiple vendors into a packaged solution.\r\n\tIndustrial and Building Management System applications.\r\n\tComputer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware.\r\n\tKnowledgeable in computer programming languages (VB, C#, C++).\r\n\tiMicrosoft operating systems and software applications.\r\n\tChange management and rev control.\r\n\tWriting and using Test Scripts.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Duration: 6+ months temp to hire.

\r\n\r\n

Location: Troy Michigan (Remote)

\r\n\r\n

Pay: $55/hr. to $62/hr.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
