Programming Actuarial Analyst

ASEC is an international team that delivers actuarial systems used by Aviva business units around the world. The team is mainly focused on maintenance and development of in-house built tolls that support actuarial calculations.

 

What will you be doing?

Develop our tools using Python, SQL and SAS

Perform experience analyses of life products

Create and maintain appropriate documentation of the code, in line with EUC frameworks

Drive forward changes and implement automation

 

What we’re looking for?

Experienced and adaptable code knowledge (in Python/SQL or SAS)

Very Good analytical skills

Ability to work with large data sets

Good critical thinking and proven problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of statistics and/or actuarial mathematics

At least basic knowledge of life insurance

Very good in spoken and written English
