Celebrating 75 years as a non-profit provider of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Onondaga County, Arc of Onondaga is looking to fill the position of Programs and Services Officer. \n
\n
The Programs and Services Officer is responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of services, supports and programs at Arc of Onondaga. This includes directing the planning, integration, and coordination of continuous quality improvement and regulatory compliance for programs, service areas and the agency's business operations. Specific oversight includes community supports, employment supports, nursing services, clinical services, centralized intake, plan coordination, outreach and custodial\/production business contracts. \n

Job Requirements\n\nLeads, directs, supports, and encourages collaboration between division directors, supervisors, and over 200 employees. \nEncourages collaboration between departments and divisions to ensure delivery of person-centered services and integration of clinical services.\nDemonstrates knowledge of philosophy, guidelines, regulations and planning requirements for programs, supports and service areas. \nMust have a working knowledge of OPWDD\/HCBS mandated regulations and other pertinent regulations to ensure ongoing compliance with local, state and federal regulations.\nDevelops and maintains collegial relationships with external resources and agencies, promoting agency services and facilitating referrals. \nWork in collaboration with agency leaders to develop programs and services in response to market trends and best practice standards. \nMonitors assigned budgets and ensures fiscal soundness.\nPromotes and embodies the mission of Arc of Onondaga. \n\n

Preferred Education & Experience \n\nMaster's degree in Management, Education, Social Work, Psychology or another related field. \nEight years of work experience in the human services field.\nFive to ten years of supervisory experience in the human services field with three years of experience at a director's level. \n\n
