The Program Coordinator role in Custom Executive Programs is a tremendous opportunity for growth and development in the McDonough School of Business. Key responsibilities include extensive client interaction and communications via email and in person on a daily basis across cultures and borders to support the design and delivery of our transformative academic programming at the intersection of business and policy for senior executives. This position requires the flexibility to work some weekends and evenings up to 20% of the year for program deliveries onsite as well as off-site events or international travel. This role provides the agency to learn and collaborate within a structured environment as well as the opportunity to grow and work on special projects. Duties Include but not limited to:

Manage and execute logistical and operational communications for all ongoing programs.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to meet contractual obligations for programs.

Serve as lead contact for all orientation, program, and graduation activities.

Communicate program scheduling with key stakeholders and resolving any conflicts.

Work Interactions

Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Coordinator will take an empowered role within a team structure in helping deliver various Executive Custom Programs at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Program Coordinators work closely with cohorts of 30-75 participants in any single program and help coordinate communications and deliverables with faculty members, instructors, external vendors and contractors. The Coordinator will have responsibilities including project management support, event management coordination, extensive client interaction, and program delivery both onsite at Georgetown as well as offsite globally and virtually. The Coordinator will have a facility with a G-suite technology platform, take the initiative to improve program processes, be tech savvy, ensure final products of printed materials and classroom preparation are correct and seamless, and have the ability to pivot in unexpected situations.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

2 or more years experience in program or event management and high-level client interaction

Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects

Outstanding organizational abilities, working thoughtfully in teams, a critical eye for detail, and outstanding written and verbal communication

Independent decision-making skills, acting with integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure are critical

A track record for taking initiative and creative problem-solving skills

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:

$44,022.00 - $73,406.80

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
