**SUMMARY**
The Programs Manger assists the Director of Programs and Programs Coordinator with daily functioning of the programs department including outdoor adventure, equine, fitness, yoga, and integrative wellness specialists. Programs manager assists in analyzing, evaluating, and creating programs. Additionally, the Programs Manager supports the Director in payroll, ordering and purchasing, budgets, employee relations, and can support the Director role as needed. Sole duties of the Manager include marketing, programs recruitment and selection, and support daily operations.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain accurate and up to date Activities Schedule and submit to Marketing for printing
+ Oversee and manage all information as it pertains to the updating of the Miraval website e.g. program events, lectures, schedules.
+ Assist in onboarding of new offerings by all providers
+ Assist in onboarding new colleagues
+ Oversee and assist with schedule of new offerings, and maintain and update lecture schedule - consider balance of schedule and peak/non-peak times
+ Support Director of Programs with all aspects of compensation
+ Support the operational needs of the Programs Department
+ Oversee one-on-one scheduling and room assignments
+ Coordinate descriptions of information and training to resort staff about the offering
+ Evaluate incoming specialist proposals and accurately track denials and pending status
+ Coordinate arrangements for demos as pertains to new offerings and potential providers
+ Analyze management statistics for efficiencies, ie. SAM tool, Resort Suites, Envision. etc…
+ Assist Director of Programs with all aspects of Independent Contractor and Professional Service Agreements
+ Staff commissions: process, monitor and include data reports.
+ Facilitate group pricing & billing related to Programs
+ Coordinate with Sales/Events on room assignments and potential room overbooking. Ensure times are blocked in RS and Envision as needed to avoid potential overbooking.
+ Schedule initial meetings with Director of Programs
+ Assist Director of Programs with returning and managing phone calls and emails
+ Process payroll & commissions for programs staff every Sunday and Independent Contractors bi-weekly on Thursdays
+ Assist Director of Programs and Programs department heads in counseling Program staff members in proper reporting, submissions of documents, purchase orders, check requests and Human Resource material
+ Meet with guests to communicate programs updates such as cancelled classes or class room moves
+ Support the property and guests as pertains to programs related challenges
+ Support colleagues with trouble shooting equipment and setup challenges
+ Other duties as assigned by Director of Programs

**Qualifications:**
**Qualifications**
· Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a wellness resort or resort management position preferred
· Strong computer skills and ability to navigate other programs such as Resort Suites, Envision, Opera, Dropbox, Microsoft Software, Outlook, Acrobat PDF's, JPEG's, HTML
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Software such as, but not limited to Word, Excel, etc... Preferred experience with Hyatt systems and Resort Suites.
· Website publishing experience preferred, graphic design, formatting experience helpful
· Supervisor or project management experience preferred in the hospitality industry
· Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
· Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage and maintain a variety of colleagues with different backgrounds, skillsets, and talents.
· Experience with payroll and commissions preferred.
