This individual will be required to plan, monitor and manage internal Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) programs from initiation through completion. Lead or coordinate programs, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and indirect people management. Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
Additional Responsibilities to include:
Manages internal SRM program execution, from initial program plan definition through ultimate mission success.Manage the full lifecycle from proposal development, including strategy, planning, writing, and submission, through successful program execution.Brief executive team on program execution, risks, and key performance metrics (KPIs).Leads internal status updates and milestone reviews. Responsible for presenting both programmatic and technical material.Collaborates with team members to write, review, and deliver technical deliverables. Includes systems engineering requirements, change requests, risk definitions and mitigation plans, nonconformance reports, and data reviews.Participates in business strategy discussions. Responsible for understanding and communicating impacts across programs during decision-making.Assess engineering issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.Identifies, tracks, mitigates, manages, and dispositions program-level risks and opportunities.Work in a collaborative team environment on quick reaction projects and have regular contact with customers Major Position Responsibilities Has P&L responsibilities for a specific program.Implements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programs.Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers.Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance.Promotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilization.Supervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work in completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications.Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics.Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.Basic Qualifications Required Education: Associate's Degree Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education &/ or ExperiencePreferred Education: Bachelor's DegreeDiscipline/Major: Business degree preferred.Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 5-7 years’ experience relevant to the positions functional areaKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to develop and mentor others. Management skills. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines. Project management skills.Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
