Saint Luke’s South in Overland Park is seeking Registered Nurse to join our progressive care unit team. We are looking for positive nurses who enjoy working with a team, passionate about helping others expand their skill sets and is patient centered. Saint Luke’s South is proudly a Primary Stroke Center as well as STEMI receiving center. It delivers high-quality health care to Johnson County, Kansas, and the surrounding communities. It has been certified by The Joint Commission in orthopedic joint replacement for hip and knee.
Shift Details
Weekend Work Program - 2, 12 hour shifts per weekendDay Shift6:45am-7:15pm (Saturday and Sunday)The Work:
Utilizes the nursing processPerforms patient care, delegates patient care tasks, and supervises patient care staffCoordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomesDemonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and proceduresCompletes thorough assessments, performs medication administration, develops a holistic plan of care, drain management, post-procedural or post-operative managementExpected to complete tasks timely, including charting, making patient care the number one priority in a teamwork setting and having excellent communication skills and a compassionate heartWe are seeking experienced nurses who provide patient centered care with compassion and empathy. We are seeking natural leaders who love to help everyone succeed and ensures every patient on the unit is receiving exceptional patient care.
