Project Accountant
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Project Accountant to join our team in the Non-Profit industry. The role is based in Chicago, Illinois, and allows for remote work. As a Project Accountant, you will be essential in managing customer AIA applications, keeping track of customer records, and handling customer inquiries. Moreover, your role will include monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications • Keeping track of customer credit records meticulously • Handling customer inquiries and resolving them effectively • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions • Preparing and submitting AIA billing, AIA billing experience is required! • Creating a Schedule of Values • Handling Lien Waivers • Managing Certified Payroll • Utilizing QuickBooks Online for various accounting tasks • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis. The salary range for this position is $25/hr. to $25/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements • Hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within a non-profit organization. • Proficient in AIA Billing procedures and protocols is mandatory. • Demonstrable understanding and experience with AIA Documents. • Experienced in handling Lien Waivers. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with non-profit accounting standards and regulations.
