Our client located in Downtown Houston is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. Position Overview: The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and successfully completing projects. This role demands excellent organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: + Plan, organize, and implement all aspects of assigned projects effectively. + Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. + Coordinate and manage project tasks, deliverables, and timelines. + Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing project updates and addressing changes. + Partner with vendors to meet project requirements and manage resources. + Monitor project expenses, identify cost variances, and maintain budget adherence. + Document and maintain all project-related correspondence and records. + Delegate tasks to project manager assistants and oversee their completion. + Complete additional assignments as directed by the supervisor. Requirements Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree(s) preferred. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Excellent communication and customer service skills. + Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor. + Demonstrated math skills for accurate budgeting and expense tracking. + Sales experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry or Commercial Contractor Sales is a plus. Physical Requirements: This role is primarily sedentary, but some filing tasks may require lifting, bending, or standing on a stool.
