What will you be doing?

 

We currently have an open position for a Project Accountant II in St. Louis, MO reporting to the Project Accounting Manager.  This position will support the FP&A team and is responsible for communicating any events or activities that may impact the financial results of the business unit, while ensuring accounting is recorded in accordance with GAAP.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Reconciling and/or Reviewing subledger activity to general ledger account balances Completing month-end and year-end close Preparing and/or reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations Review and approve projects and related budgets Complete project revenue recognition Assist with project administration to ensure accounting is accurate Review profitability reports for accuracy and research issues as needed Communicate with FP&A on financial results Communicate and coordinate with Project Managers regarding project status, change orders and approvals Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
