About being our Project & Accounting Specialist\n

As our Project & Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our engineering, survey, and construction management teams by focusing heavily on processing a high volume of project billing. You will collaborate closely with our project teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, monitoring project budgets and contracts, and providing contract and subcontract management support across departments. This role is based in our Seattle office and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.\n

Responsibility Highlights for our Project & Accounting Specialist\n\nComplete monthly project billing in compliance with client and contract specifications, accurately and in a timely manner\nEffectively communicate with Project Managers regarding billings, contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services\nSet up new projects using accounting software according to contract, client, and project manager direction\nFacilitate expense and credit card reporting, insuring timely and accurate coding and processing\nCoordinate the processing and coding of accounts payable\nAssist with administering contracts from execution to close out\nWork with the cash receipts team member to reconcile variances that occur in the application of cash\nServe as a resource for staff with accounting-related issues or questions for the region\n\n

Minimum Qualifications to be our Project & Accounting Specialist\n\nMinimum of 5 years project accounting experience \nHigh school diploma or GED\nHighly organized, detail oriented and ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint) with intermediate proficiency in Excel\nExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide variety of internal and external clients and provide quality customer service\n\n

Preferred Qualifications for our Project & Accounting Specialist\n\nKnowledge and experience with Deltek Vision accounting software\nPrior experience within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry\n\n
