Wood Transmission & Distribution Ltd is seeking a Project Administration Assistant to provide services to support the ASTI 400kV OHL Beauly to Loch Buidhe project, located in Alness, Crosshill Quarry temporary yard location. Services will be required for the duration of the contract 4-5 years at the above site location.

You will coordinate and oversee administrative tasks for the Project Manager and team, serving as a key contact for office/site management issues, while assisting in the daily operations of Document Management for the Overhead Line works from Beauly to Loch Buidhe and associated substations, ensuring effective communication with both the client’s organisation and Wood Transmission and Distribution.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Project Administration Assistant will establish and execute data management processes for project lifecycle support, ensuring all documentation is stored exclusively in SharePoint, adhering to applicable procedures, managing quality records for the Quality department, and overseeing office operations for both Wood and client personnel.

Educated to GCSE or equivalent level (English, Science, and Maths) along with significant document control experience, proficiency in MS Office software such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, you will also have a solid understanding of office administration with developed service-oriented interpersonal and teamwork skills.

We encourage applicants who are experienced document control administrators/ project administration assistants to apply, while prioritizing those with proven backgrounds in construction or electricity supply among candidates from diverse industries.
