We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrative Specialist to join the team

The Project Administrative Specialist will\:

Provide spacesuit project administrative support, including scheduling meetings and reviews Setting up and managing a “home page" on SharePoint that will display detailed information about the project progress Administer Project SharePoint sites, which means 1) respond to requests for additional subsites, modify sites and site pages, manage permissions, set up new lists/libraries, etc., to support growing project needs Track general project actions and sending out reminders Provide document control, which includes reviewing documents for CUI labelling, adding signature blocks to documents, assisting teammates with document formatting, signature routing, and general configuration control of documents Assist with compiling the JETS internal weekly status report for the EC5 Project. Collect actions and follow up with actionees to get the actions completed and statuses updated ahead of the meetings Perform other duties as required *

Requisition Qualifications\:

This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.

Requires a HS diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Strong experience with SharePoint administration (either v2016 or O365 Teams) Strong experience with Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat (full version) Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience in working with engineers in a collaborative environment Experience with file management/document control and related CUI labelling​

Requisition Preferences\: 

Typically requires two (2) years of college with courses in business administration, computer science, and progressive administrative experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience Familiarity with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures, especially with regards to spacesuit development and terminology​

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Equipment and Machines

Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.

Other Essential Functions

Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
