Complete Description:
The District of Columbia Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) is currently seeking an experienced Project Administrator for data creation and monitoring of DC and Regional Operational Applications. This position will be responsible for creating asset and asset dependencies, monitoring, triaging and dissemination of multiple sources of data to assist the agency with day to day and event based situational awareness. The position will also be responsible for working with recipients of the data to make decisions as well as creating situation reports on an as needed basis. The candidate must have experience in a watch desk environment using IT applications preferably in a government setting. The candidate will also be responsible for training users following upgrades; adding data to the application; and generally improving the usage of the available application tools.
