Project Administrator

JOB SUMMARY

Implements and evaluates management processes and templates. Compiles metrics relating to Engineering project success, project attributes, and individual productivity and adherence to defined processes.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceCoordinates and works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude major projectsCoordinates schedules, activities and administrative details, assists in purchasing, procurement and maintenance agreements, places orders for supplies and services, and tracking progress and results for projectsServes as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changesProvides administrative support to project managers and project leadersEnsures project control systems are in place and integrates project data for decision makers

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE

Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to assist with the management of diverse and strategic projectsBasic understanding of program and project budgetsBasic understanding of implementing project plans, monitoring progress, resource usage and qualityBasic knowledge of project management disciplines

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experienceProject Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management
