Kitware seeks a Project Administrator to assist Kitware’s Computer Vision team with administering the lifecycle of the company’s US Department of Defense and other government projects. The administrator will interact with project managers, contracts administrators,  the compliance director, collaborators, and customers to assist in the execution and performance of projects related to artificial intelligence, object detection and recognition, tracking, activity recognition, anomaly detection, 3D reconstruction, image forensics, image enhancement, and several related areas.In This Position You Will:Assist project leads by providing support for internal and external customer interactions (presentations, deliverables communication, status of projects, schedule meetings)Coordinate with Kitware’s contracts team and the project teams to submit proposals, requests for contract modifications, and prior approval requestsTrack due dates for, and perform upload of technical and administrative contract deliverables, across multiple government-hosted systemsCoordinate with Kitware’s marketing team, manage public release requests, and gather materials from projects for internal and external marketingAssist project leads in ensuring that the project schedule is on track by utilizing technical knowledge to understand high-level technical goals and concepts of projectsAssist project leads with purchase, tracking, and disposition of government propertyAssist with data collection, data security, and data management tasksWork to establish processes to improve and simplify project administrationCoordinate with Kitware’s project leads and compliance team to provide support for Human Subject Research, including development of  protocols and the coordination and gathering of materials to be submitted for IRB reviewAssist with subcontractor management and oversightPerform such other assignments as may be required from time to time by managementRequired Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in project administration, project management, procurement, contracts, or a related fieldHighly organized with demonstrable experience working on multiple projects at onceStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Experience with project management software and other related softwareHighly detail-oriented and thoroughDue to contractual restrictions, only US Citizens will be considered for this positionIf not already cleared, willingness and ability to apply for, use, and maintain a security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with human subjects research or other data security regulations Experience working in a highly regulated industry Some knowledge of agile methodologies and/or a technical background in computer science or engineering $60,000 - $75,000 a yearCompany Description:Kitware is a research and development software solutions provider with a mission to advance science, make a positive impact, and share our results all within a collaborative, employee-focused work environment that is friendly, fair, and flexible.
