Purpose of Role:
The role of Project Administrator has the responsibility for assisting & supporting the execution of a portfolio of Managed Projects according to the contracted deliverables.
The role will assist in actioning project related tasks and monitoring status both internally within Weir Minerals and externally as required with customers & suppliers. The role will include supporting Project Managers in a variety of areas including, but not limited to;
Attending project review meetings and creation of MoM / Actions Lists.Document preparation, document control and uploading of documents to customer/EPC portals.Liaising, monitoring and reporting on internal Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain status of project related scope.Administering the use of SAP Project Systems, loading new projects and updating such to support the reporting cycle for managed projects throughout project life cycles.Responsibility for supporting continual development of cross-functional project management procedures, process’, tools & techniques.Position within the Organisation
The Project Administrator reports to the Senior Project Manager as part of the Project Management Office organisation consisting of Project Management, Project Engineering, Supply Chain & related project support staff. The role has the potential to be the initial step into the development of a further career in Project Management.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist & Support the project team in the execution of WME ‘Managed Projects’ – to include:
Order entry into the SAP ERP Project Systems software.Tracking & Invoicing of Project Financials & Milestones.Tracking & reporting of Project Status relative to target, covering supply chain, engineering and quality disciplines.Maintaining, updating & actioning of Project Risk & Issues Register and Action Trackers.Support & participate in external customer and internal stakeholder project reviews and meetings.Identification & actioning of improvement opportunities for Project Management tools, techniques & process’Support & participate in wider business improvement initiatives, ensuring the requirements of the Project Management function are effectively represented.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
Competent in the use of Company ERP Systems - SAP. (Essential)Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power-point & Outlook. (Essential)Fluent in English-language. (Essential)Experience of working in a cross-functional projects organisation.Technical appreciation of Weir products & process’.Efficient & effective in the planning and monitoring of actions.Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others.Educated to College- standard, or equivalentNote: Training will be given on SAP Project Systems.
