Our Environmental Department is looking for a Project Administrator for immediate hire. This role is open due to a backfill. The position involves various administrative and compliance tasks within the construction and utility sectors.
ResponsibilitiesProcess credit card transactions and invoicesMaintain accurate record keepingMake travel arrangementsTrack training and other programsEnsure compliance with regulatory agencies including EPA, ADEQ, Pinal County, and Maricopa CountyWrite and document reports within Microsoft WordOrganize data and records within Microsoft ExcelWork extensively with PDFs in AdobeObtain and ensure trade partner certificates of insurance meet contractual requirementsAssist the accounting team to meet monthly accounting deadlines by mitigating missing or incorrect information from trade partnersReview, identify, and approve compliance items throughout the construction processCommunicate unresolved issues to the teamPerform final review of documents for complianceParticipate in the Pre-lien process by providing project informationTrack trade partner change orders and requests for change ordersEssential SkillsAt least 3 years of experience in a project administrative roleExperience in the construction or utility industry is preferred but not requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Project, and AdobeFamiliarity with regulatory agenciesExperience in processing invoicesAbility to create PowerPoint presentationsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with LaserFish (records retention software) and Hyperion (budgeting software) is a plus but not requiredExperience with Oracle business softwareStrong multitasking abilitiesAttention to detailEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work well in a team environmentStrong problem-solving skillsWork Environment
The role will primarily support the environmental department in a compliance-focused position. Candidates should be local to Tucson or able to commute to project sites regularly. The position requires working five days a week, eight hours a day, in the office. The office provides many amenities and supports a collaborative work environment. The company invests in upskilling consultants and provides all necessary equipment for success. This is a stable, long-term role with opportunities for annual merit pay increases and two weeks of PTO to start.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
