CTG is seeking to fill a Project Analyst opening for our client in Buffalo, NY. Location: Buffalo, NY Duration: 12 months Overview: On a project basis, the Project Analyst will participate in the gathering and analysis of information for defining project scope, business requirements, process definition, training, testing, and other activities and documentation to support project delivery. The role involves performing routine to complex analysis and research in support of business goals and strategies, defining and implementing modifications to solve problems, and assisting in day-to-day project support. Primary Responsibilities: Participate in the planning and implementation of new projects, products, programs, and initiatives to achieve both short and long-term business objectives and strategic outcomes. Assist in the development of project roadmaps and plans. Help address problems, solutions, risks, and issues of various scope and size, analyzing information, determining feasible solutions, and articulating recommendations to the project team. Maintain a deep understanding of the areas affected by the project, including functions, processes, and operations. Manage small to medium-sized efforts, coordinating activities and tasks across teams and departmental boundaries. Plan and support the development of communications plans, test plans, change management plans, and training plans to assist in the implementation and adoption of project deliverables. Ensure all efforts are properly and accurately documented in line with current standards and procedures. Recommend enhancements to procedures and standards where necessary. Adhere to applicable compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with company or regulatory standards and policies. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the company brand. Maintain internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points and any issues raised by external regulators. Complete other related duties as assigned. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: Mentor junior team members. Education and Experience Required: Organized, Self-directed, Proficient in meeting minutes and follow-up. Applicants must have experience with taking meeting minutes, creating and maintaining project plans, creating PowerPoint presentations, demonstrating excellent follow-through, and having strong interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of four years of proven relevant work experience or equivalent training. Minimum of one year of proven project management experience (project role may vary). Education and Experience Preferred: Previous experience working in a project management or analytical role is preferred. Knowledge of business processes, project documentation, and testing methodologies is a plus. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
