This position will be part of the Global Services Group – Automation COE team. We are delivering the next phase of flexible, business-maintainable tools which enable superior customer care and satisfaction for multiple business areas. As a key member in this organization, the Business Systems Analyst will develop and deploy multiple iterations of Automation and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) to drive service standardization, reduce defects, and allow for a greater focus on relationship care by our Customer Care Professionals.
This role has global scope, working across markets and business units to deliver on the long-term business strategy for Automation, encompassing both the creation and planning of new opportunities and the migration of existing automation processes to POA platforms. The role includes partnership with American Express Technologies (AET) and GCE. The incumbent will be part of a team of automation programmers and responsible for adhering to the principles of reusability and consolidation.
As a key member in this organization, the Business Systems Analyst will deploy multiple iterations of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) to drive service standardization, reduce defects, and allow for a greater focus on relationship care by our Customer Care Professionals.
The incumbent will be part of an agile team working on automation with responsibility for documentation and communication between all business partners and the rest of the scrum team.
**How will you make an impact in this role?**
+ Prepare documentation of solution e.g. process mapping, action log, status reports
+ Deliver Automation projects for internal Global Servicing Group customers
+ Drive process assessments for Automation opportunities
+ Provide mentoring to end users of Automation
+ Build relationships with the broader team and business partners gaining insight into existing automation and opportunities
+ Analyze processes to understand drivers of business exceptions and identify solutions
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Background in servicing processes, preferably Credit or Collections
+ Experience in Agile delivery methodology, preferably certification as a product owner
+ Strong problem-solving skills
+ Understanding of SDLC including documentation, testing and project management
+ Should have executed 3 software development projects (Automation projects preferred)
+ Ability to manage multiple customers and stakeholders
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects whilst meeting schedules
+ Comfort and experience in working with both business and technology groups
+ Good communication skills to clarify expectations and drive alignment
+ Proven ability to successfully drive results within a matrix organization
+ Ability to organize work with little day-to-day direction
+ Sense of urgency, commitment to deadlines and deliverables
+ Proven ability to independently overcome obstacles and resolve complex problems
+ Experience in breaking down organizational barriers and to influence without direct authority
**Qualifications**
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
