About being our Project & Accounting Specialist\n

This full-time position as a Project & Accounting Specialist, will utilize your skills and expertise to support a fast-paced professional team with administrative contract and project support, plus accounting functions that are associated with the various teams and projects. This essential person would be working on multiple projects at a time, working with more than one Project Manager at a time. This position is available exclusively at the Santa Ana office with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.\n

Responsibility Highlights for our Project & Accounting Specialist\n\nPreparing project start-up documentation within the accounting programs\nPrepare subcontracts; review, track and coordinate subconsultants invoices ensuring they meet contract requirements and project budgets\nAssist with administering contracts from execution to close out\nComplete monthly project billings in compliance with client and contract specifications\nResource for project managers regarding the financial aspects of their projects\nInterface with clients to assist in resolving business related issues\nAcquire insurance certificates and other documentation as required by clients\nFacilitate timesheet processing for both office and union field staff (general understanding of union rules and prevailing wage)\nProcessing and coding of credit cards and expense reports\n\n

Minimum Qualifications to be our Project & Accounting Specialist\n\nMinimum of 5 years prior general accounting, administrative or related experience\nHigh school diploma or GED\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail\nAbility to work and communicate well with multiple teams, both in an office atmosphere and virtually\n\n

Preferred Qualifications for our Project & Accounting Specialist\n\nAssociates degree or higher\nPrior experience within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry\nKnowledge of Deltek accounting software\n\n
